|October 1, 2020||Team Registration Opens|
|November 20, 2020||Deadline for “Early Bird” registration of teams*. Early Bird teams will be announced December 1, 2020.|
|December 7, 2020||Deadline for registration of all teams|
|December 11, 2020||Deadline for receipt by ORAU of all required student and adult forms for Team 1 and Team 2, including Code of Conduct and Assistant Coach/Chaperone Registration forms. Teams that fail to have required paperwork to ORAU by 4pm on December 11 may not be selected to compete. To ensure your spot to compete, we urge you to send in your forms within 2 weeks of registering online.|
|January 7, 2021||Announcement of teams selected to compete. Team selection is contingent upon available space and receipt of all forms; acceptance of teams will be based on the date and time of online registration: first come, first served! Teams that fail to have required paperwork to ORAU by 4pm on December 11 will not be selected to compete. All first teams will be accepted before any second teams are accepted. All second teams will be accepted before any third teams are accepted.|
|February 17, 2021||Changes to Teams Deadline: Changes to team members must be finalized!! Any changes made after this date, due to an unforeseen emergency, need to be communicated as soon as possible. Call Karen Brummett at 865-574-6440 to provide details. Requests to make a replacement after this date may be denied. If a team has fewer than 3 members who are able to attend the event, that team will forfeit their spot and an alternate team will be selected.|
|February 27, 2021||Preliminary Rounds of TSB!|
|March 6, 2021||Elimination Rounds of TSB!|
* Only Team 1s are eligible for Early Bird selection. TSB is seeking sponsors to provide an Amazon Alexa Dot for those teams selected during Early Bird registration to use the ORAU Science Bowl voice app for practice. Additional teams from the same school may register early (and are encouraged to do so!), but each school will only receive one Dot, if they are available through TSB.
