Day 1 General session with DOE staff and external speakers. Learn about grantee's responsibilities, how to prepare for Phase II, success stories, commercialization assistance, investors perspective.
Day 2 One-on-one meetings for each PI with their DOE Program Manager and the DOE commercialization assistance provider, Larta. Info session and networking with Program Managers from other Government agencies.
This is an internal DOE meeting held for all the DOE SBIR/STTR 2019 Phase I Release 1 grantees.
PI's are expected to deliver a verbal progress report on their project during the one-on-one with their Program Manager on Day 2.
In addition to the PI, other representatives from the small business can attend the meeting. For details contact Claudia Cantoni (claudia.cantoni@science.doe.gov). If a PI is unable to attend, he or she should notify their DOE Program Manager (with a copy to claudia.cantoni@science.doe.gov) to discuss options.
