Efficiency evaluation collects information to answer questions about the resources required to carry out program activities compared to the benefits attributed to those activities. The evaluation compares the collected information to previously identified criteria/objectives to determine the extent of discrepancy or congruence between an optimally efficient use of resources and the program's actual use of resources.
