The Department of Energy's Terrestrial Ecosystem Science (TES) and Subsurface Biogeochemical Research (SBR) programs will hold their fourth Joint Principal Investigators Meeting on April 25-26, 2017, at the Bolger Conference Center in Potomac, MD. The nearest airports are Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Dulles International Airport (IAD). This event will follow a similar basic program format as previous years, beginning on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. and concluding on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Additional side meetings (e.g., science team, project or research coordination meetings) may be held following the conclusion of the scheduled program on Wednesday evening. Meeting Check-In will be available Monday evening, April, 24, 2017 and Tuesday morning..
The meeting is for the Principal Investigators (PIs) and associates of projects and Science Focus Area (SFA) programs funded through the TES and SBR programs, and invited guests and observers. The meeting provides a venue for meeting participants to exchange results and accomplishments while providing program managers the opportunity to evaluate the progress of each project and SFA program. You or your project representative will be expected to attend the entire meeting (i.e., through Wednesday evening). To be included in the electronic-copy abstract book, your abstract must be received by the submission deadline, COB Friday, February 24, 2017. In addition to a poster from each funded project and select presentations from funded PIs, the meeting will host a number of guest speakers.
