The ASCR Exascale Math Working Group Workshop is being held from August 21, 2013, to August 22, 2013, at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) in Washington.

The goal of this workshop, organized by the DOE ASCR Exascale Mathematics Working Group (EMWG), is for the applied mathematics community to explore applied mathematics research opportunities that address the challenges of exascale computing. Additional information on the EMWG's charter, the workshop, and position papers are available at the EMWG's website.

Space at the AGU is limited, so registration will be handled on a first come, first served basis. We will need to work within the constraints of DOE conference policy, and so we expect that we will need to limit the number of DOE and DOE laboratory personnel to 40, with preference given to presenters. Due to space and cost considerations, we may not be able to accommodate more than two co-authors in multiple-authored papers.
