The WIST conference scientific presentations will feature women professionals who are making their mark in a variety of scientific and technical fields. Learn about the many rewarding careers available to you and how women are making a difference with their expertise. Scientific sessions offer opportunities for small group discussions! An opportunity to talk in small groups with researchers from multiple disciplines (including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science). Learn more about graduate school programs and career opportunities! If graduate school is in your future, you won't want to miss the Graduate Fair, where representatives from regional graduate schools will be available to answer your questions about their programs. Tours of Oak Ridge National Laboratory! On Thursday afternoon, you will have the opportunity to tour in small groups one of seven areas within the ORNL complex. Researchers from that area will provide guided tours through their research areas. See description of tours. |
