1:30-2:30 p.m. Breakout Scientific Sessions:  Women researchers and scientists discuss their specific research and respond to questions.  Students will pick one of four topic areas:  Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computing.
2:30-2:45 p.m. Break
2:45-3:30 p.m. Keynote Speaker:  Lauri Sammartano, assistant professor in the Biology Department and Women’s Studies Program at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.  She is currently on sabbatical leave and is working with Dr. C.H. Winston Chen’s research group in the Life Sciences Division of Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Topic:  "A Lab of One's Own:  What Women Scientists Will Need as We Face the 21st Century"
