The WIST conference scientific presentations will feature women professionals who are making their mark in a variety of scientific and technical fields. Learn about the many rewarding careers available to you and how women are making a difference with their expertise. Scientific sessions offer opportunities for small group discussions! An opportunity to talk in small groups with researchers from multiple disciplines (including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science). Learn more about graduate school programs and career opportunities! If graduate school is in your future, you won't want to miss the Graduate Fair, where representatives from regional graduate schools will be available to answer your questions about their programs. Marie Curie exhibit! The exhibit, on display at the American Museum of Science and Energy, will examine the work of Madame Curie, the discovery of radioactivity, and the consequent contributions of other women scientists who built on her work in the fields of nuclear science, engineering, and chemistry. Included in the exhibit will be some of the original laboratory equipment used by Marie Curie in her work. WIST
