MANDATORY Annual Training for All ORO Federal Employees and Direct/Support Service Contractors

001066 -- ISMS for TQP Positions
 

Description:

Mandatory annual training for all ORO Federal Employees and Direct/Support Service Contractors.  ORO has adopted the DOE Guiding Principles and Core Functions of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS), as reflected in DOE P 450.4, Safety Management System Policy, and DOE P 450.7, Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) Goals, and in the ISMS plans of the individual organizations.  The purpose of this training effort is to help all ORO staff acquire the appropriate level of ISMS knowledge to be applied in the conduct of daily business and operations.

The following tracks have been identified for ORO staff. 

Federal Employees -- Federal employees in the Technical Qualification Program (TQP) will take Track 2, and Federal employees not in TQP will take Track 1.

Contractor Employees -- Contractor employees employed by the ORO direct/support service contractors whose positions are technical in nature will take Track 2, and contractor employees whose positions are administrative in nature will take Track 1.

(Track 1 consists of 5 activities and should take 30 – 45 minutes to complete.)

Track 2 – Federal TQP participants or technical contractor employees

(Track 2 consists of 21 activities and should take 75 – 90
minutes
to complete.)

A Training Request Form is not required for this Training. Upon completion of the training,

-- Federal employees should send the completed Self-Certification Form to the ORO Training Center located in room G-110 of the Federal Office Building.

-- Contractor employees should send the completed Self-Certification Form to their company training point of contact.
