General Employee Training (GET) (Web-Based)

Description:

This training gives an overview of the following: hazards present at the DOE sites, means used to identify hazardous areas, site emergency procedures and alarms, and the safety and quality assurance programs that apply to all employees at the sites.
 

Audience:

  Any employee who must meet site access requirements.
 

Vendors:

  BWXT, UT-Battelle, and Bechtel Jacobs will accept completion of any of the following GET classes to grant access to their respective sites. 

Additional training is required for access to the MAA area; contact the ORO Training Center at 865-576-1082 for information.

BWXT GET (Plant Training) - No Cost
 
    2. UT Battelle GET for ORR Site Access - There is a cost.  Do not take UT Battelle training without submitting an electronic training Request Form and listing UT Battelle as the vendor.
 
    3.  BJC P3WT Paducah, Portsmouth, Park Worker Training - No Cost
 
   

GET is required every two years after the initial training.

An electronic Training Request Form must be submitted before completing this training/test.  Upon receipt of the electronic Training Request Form, the Training Center will send an email to employees to provide instructions on how to access and complete the training.  For additional information, call the Training Center at (865) 576-1082.
