The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research will host the ASCR Workshop on Software Productivity for Extreme-Scale Science at the Hilton Rockville in Rockville, Maryland. The meeting will begin Monday, January 13, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. and will end on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided each day.

The objective of this 1 1/2 day workshop is to bring together computational scientists from academia, industry, and national laboratories to identify the major challenges of large-scale application software productivity on extreme-scale computing platforms.
