2000 Summary

Graduate School Fair Introduces Students to Opportunities

A new and successful component to this year's WIST conference was a graduate school fair, held on the final afternoon of the conference. Schools from around the region sent representatives to talk with the participants about the opportunities they offer. Participating schools included:

• Auburn University
• East Tennessee State University
• Tennessee Tech
• Tennessee State University
• University of Georgia
• University of Kentucky
• University of Tennessee

Scientists from ORNL were also on hand at a poster session to discuss their research.
