Cost and Registration for the 2000 WIST Conference

The registration cost for students and faculty (U.S. citizens) for the 2000 Women in Science and Technology conference is $50, which will cover all conference activities, two lunches, dinner/reception, continental breakfast, and breaks. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted for registration fee payment.

Register electronically from here; registration forms and fees should be received by February 25, 2000, but will still be accepted after this date as space allows. Groups of four or more traveling more than 50 miles one way in one car/van to attend the conference may request mileage reimbursement at the rate of $.32 per mile. There is no reimbursement for airfare.

Special Note for Non-U.S. Citizens
Registration for the Thursday, March 9, Shadow-a-Mentor Program is limited to U.S. citizens due to time constraints for laboratory clearance. Non-U.S. citizens may register for the Thursday evening and Friday conference activities for a fee of $45. This includes all conference activities except the Shadow-a-Mentor program, reception/dinner, lunch, continental breakfast, and breaks. Registration forms and fees must be received by February 25, 2000.

Optional Tours for Saturday, March 11
Tours of local and regional attractions are offered for all conference participants on Saturday at an additional cost.
