When you have been selected, you will receive a message from the US Department of Energy (DOE) Headquarters and will be required to respond to it. Once you receive your offer, you have 14 days to respond.

To avoid missing the response deadline applicants are encouraged to check their application status page daily beginning February 1. To access your status page please click "Check Status Page". To login you will need the credentials you created when you began your application. If you are unable to remember your login credentials please click "Forgot your username or password".

The e-mail that you receive from DOE will contain:

1. The title of your research project
2. Your research project description
3. Your assigned mentor’s name
4. Your assigned mentor’s contact information
5. Program appointment dates
6. Stipend Amount
7. Housing Information
8. Travel Information
9. ORISE contact information

Once you have accepted the email offer, ORISE will follow-up with a full appointment package. You will be required to sign and return several documents to ORISE.
