The National Library of Medicine (NLM) Research Participation Programs provide opportunities for members of the academic community (i.e., postgraduates, students, and faculty) to participate in research and development programs, projects, and activities at the world's largest library. Participants interact with outstanding professionals; have access to on-site resources and facilities; become familiar with and make significant contributions to research; gain an understanding of NLM programs; and make professional contributions to their fields. The Scientific Visitors Program offers similar experiences to faculty and professionals in the field of library science.
