Friday, June 28   Department of Energy Orientation and Departure

7:00 a.m. Hotel Lobby Depart hotel for DOE's Forrestal Building
8:15 a.m. DOE’s Forrestal Building Orientation to DOE and the Nobel meeting
1:00 p.m. Channel Inn Check out of hotel
Lunch in hotel conference room
1:45 p.m. Channel Inn Board bus to Philadelphia airport
5:00 p.m. Philadelphia Airport Check in for the flight to Frankfurt.  
Dinner or snack on your own 
All Night Airplane Overnight flight to Frankfurt, hopefully sleeping!

Saturday, June 29   Arrival in Frankfurt; Bus to Lindau

9:50 a.m. Frankfurt Airport Arrive in Frankfurt
11:00 a.m. Geissberger Bus Chartered bus to Lindau.  Lunch stop in Ulm.
~5:00 p.m. Lindau hotels  Bus will bring students to Vis-a-vis Hotel.  
Free time to rest and explore

7:30 a.m. Ferry at Lindau Harbor Board boat for trip to Mainau for closing ceremonies and a day in the Mainau gardens; boat trip is prime time to talk to Laureates

Welcome by Countess Sonja Bernadotte
Tour of Gardens
12:00 noon Mainau Castle Closing ceremony
12:30 p.m. Ferry at Mainau Harbor Optional trip to Meersburg, famous for local wines Meersburg castle is open for tours
3:00 p.m. Ferry at Meersburg Harbor Ferry returns from Meersburg to Mainau
4:00 p.m. Geissberger Bus Depart Mainau for drive to Astron Hotel, Frankfurt Airport
Dinner stop in Heidelberg

Saturday, July 6   Return Flight to U.S. or Individual Travel Begins
