Our bus from Frankfurt to Lindau required a trailer to handle all our
luggage. After struggling
with suitcases, backpacks, and garment bags through several airports, we
feel certain that many of us will learn to pack lighter on whatever trips
we may take in the future!

| The U.S. students hosted a networking meeting for approximately 70 students from other countries on Sunday evening. The following countries were among those represented: Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, and Venezuela. The event was sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and Oak Ridge Associated Universities. The success of the meeting was obvious from the lively conversation that lasted until after midnight when the hall closed. | ||
