52nd Meeting of the Nobel Laureates: The 2002 Trip Report
 
July 5, 2002: Closing Ceremonies 

 

For the closing ceremony on Friday, all students and Laureates were guests of the Countess Sonja Bernadotte on the island of Mainau, home of the Bernadotte family.

 

 

Right: The gardens and terraces at Mainau provided a beautiful setting for the conclusions of the 52nd Meeting of Nobel Laureates.

After the closing ceremony and a tour of the island of Mainau, the group boarded the bus for the long trip back to Frankfurt, one last overnight, and then flights back to the US or elsewhere.
