EXTRA: Read About It! On Sunday evening the
American students were hosts for a networking session with students
from other countries. More than 80 students from 21 different
countries joined the American delegation to fill the Restaurant Am See
next to the Inselhalle for an evening of intense discussions about
physics, education, and politics and everything in between. Even the
weather was a topic when a thunderstorm rolled in and forced the group
of 150 students from the patio to the inside. Some conversations
continued even after the restaurant closed at midnight. Countries
represented at the session were Argentina, Austria, Canada, Chile,
China, Czech Republic, Cuba, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel,
Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Sweden, and
the United Kingdom. |
