Session Objective
The objectives for this session are to:
- Describe the purpose and process of the High Blood Pressure Indicators Community of Practice.
- Understand how to use the “Indicators Website.”
- Understand next steps and expectations related to the HDSP indicators.
Session Summary
The HDSP Indicators project represents an investment of time and resources for both the Division and states. Use of the indicators by practitioners will
- Systematize program planning, evaluation, and reporting.
- Integrate program and evaluation planning through a focus on outcome indicators.
- Assist in the development of program outcome objectives in the context of logical model “pathways” and associated outcome indicators.
This mini plenary provides an update on the HDSP Indicators Project including an update on the work of the High Blood Pressure Community of Practice, an introduction to the HDSP Indicator website, and guidance on expectations for states’ continued use of the indicators.
This session is open to everyone: Program Managers, Epidemiologists, and Evaluators.
