Session Summary
This session highlights evidence-based policy, environmental, and systems-level interventions (PES), strategies and promising practices in health care that have been effective for treating and preventing high blood pressure and cholesterol. This session focuses on what our CDC-funded programs can do to impact the use of PES interventions in health care settings, such as community health centers, private practices, and other local health agencies. In this session, time is devoted to dialogue around the role and experiences of state grantees in health care.
