Chronic Disease: 2010 and Beyond

Session Objective

The objectives for this session are to:

• Share updates from the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention.
• Describe the vision for CDC’s National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in the coming years.

Session Summary

This plenary session provides an overview of chronic disease at CDC in the future. The participants are welcome by a Division presenter, who also provides an update from the Division and introduces the keynote speaker. The keynote speaker discusses the vision for the CDC’s Chronic Disease Center in the coming years.
