Building and Sustaining Effective Partnerships

Session Objective

The objectives for this session are to:

• Identify eight Steps to Building and Sustaining Effective Partnership.
• Name three benefits and three challenges that HDSP partnerships may face.
• Assess partnerships’ effectiveness using the CEI tool.
• Problem-solve potential areas of partnership dysfunction.
• Complete individual Action Plans that overcome barriers and make partnership success more likely.

Session Summary

This session is open to all grantees who are engaged in building and maintaining partnerships. The instructor provides an overview of the eight Steps to Building and Sustaining Effective Partnership and use an interactive voting procedure to tailor the workshop to participants needs. From this workshop, participants gain a thorough understanding of the intricacies of building and maintaining a partnership and develop action steps that their partnership can attain in the upcoming year.
