The National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP) sponsored a training for its National Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (HDSP) and Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation (WISEWOMAN) programs September 9 - 11, 2008 in Atlanta, GA at the Hilton Atlanta.
The intent of this training was to offer skill building and networking opportunities for the HDSP and WISEWOMAN programs based on each program’s respective Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) requirements. A variety of skill-building sessions that support HDSP program priority areas and competencies necessary to carry out National HDSP Program requirements were offered.
