2007 HDSP State Program Training

The 2007 Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (HDSP) State Program Training was sponsored by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP). It was held September 18-20, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia at the CDC's Tom Harkin Global Communications Center.

The training focused on program priority areas and skills needed to carry out the requirements of the CDC State Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Program Funding Opportunity Announcement RFA-DP07-704. States were provided the opportunity to discuss activities they have been conducting as well as share lessons learned. The training included general sessions, small group interactive sessions, and practice/skill building sessions.
