
The 2005 Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Practitioners Institute was conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention, September 20-23, 2005, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The goals of the Institute was to ensure that state health departments have the capacity and resources to carry out a comprehensive heart disease and stroke prevention program. Training was provided in an atmosphere of formal and informal sharing of information.
