Objective/Supporting Skills and Knowledge

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Use the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory to rate current coalition partners’ strengths and weaknesses
  • List possible steps to compensate for weaknesses and enhance strengths
  • Prioritize action steps to address strengths and weaknesses
  • List techniques for keeping coalition members actively engaged in coalition activities

Summary

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to use the Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory to assess their current partners’ abilities to carry out the coalition’s goals. Participants will be able to use the results of the assessment process to “retool” their coalition in the face of changing priorities and environmental impacts.
