  • Plan and execute macro-marketing activities to reach business leaders and organizations
  • Present a compelling business case that persuades business leaders and organizations to support interventions to promote cardiovascular health and prevent heart disease and stroke
  • Identify and address opportunities and barriers to successfully engage business leaders

Summary

In the business community, State programs provide leadership by promoting the importance of comprehensive heart disease and stroke prevention programs. This session will address (1) macro-marketing activities to reach business leaders and organizations; (2) a business case to persuade business leaders to support policy, environmental, and system change interventions that promote cardiovascular health and prevent heart disease and stroke; and (3) opportunities and ways to successfully engage business leaders.
