Objective/Supporting Skills and Knowledge

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe quality improvement initiatives in a variety of systems: emergency medical services, quality improvement organizations, managed care and rehabilitation services
  • Describe how to design and implement a marketing plan to recruit additional clinic teams into a quality improvement initiative

Summary

This session will provide an overview of quality improvement, discuss opportunities and challenges, as well as highlighting various aspects of quality improvement initiatives, including how to effectively market quality improvement to clinic teams.
