To Apply:
- Please complete the
application using Microsoft Word and save it once completed.
- After you have finished
the application, you must convert it to a PDF file. If you do not have
access to the necessary conversion tools, you may go to
http://createpdf.adobe.com/ which
allows the creation of .pdf files online.
- Complete the online
Summary Data Form and then upload your
PDF file by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting the file. You
will only have one chance to upload a file. If you upload the wrong
file, you will not be able to change it.
- GRE scores are
required for a complete application. Because of testing schedules
and deadlines, applicants are advised to seek GRE testing information early.
The generally scheduled test dates in October and December are acceptable,
however, test scores from the February date will NOT be received in time for
the application review.
- Original
transcripts are required and must be submitted from each
institution listed. Undergraduate transcripts should indicate
completion of degree if applicable. Please submit your transcripts to ORISE at: Fusion Energy
Fellowship Program; Attn: Debbie Alcorn; ORISE, P.O. Box 117, MS
36; Oak Ridge, TN 37831-0117.
- Three references are
required. Please provide your referees with the
Reference Form so that
they may submit the form directly to ORISE on or before January 31, 2009.
- Deadline:
January 31, 2009. All parts of the application (including GRE
scores) must be received at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education by
January 31, 2009. It is the applicant's responsibility to check
with ORISE regarding the completeness of the application file. Late or
incomplete applications will not be reviewed for awards.
