Add Additional Improvement Item Help

Additional observations may have been noted. An additional observation can be an improvement item that pertains to an exercise participant but is not associated with a specific objective.

How to Use

• The appropriate exercise participant should be selected from the drop-down menu.

• A description of the improvement item should be added in the first text box.

• Recommended actions to address the improvement item should be added in the second text box.

• The organization responsible for taking action should be listed. More than one organization may be responsible for recommended actions.

• If the anticipated completion date is known, the box next to the date field should be clicked to assign an expected date of completion.

• The date field is a drop-down calendar that allows the user to select an expected date of completion. Arrows to the left and right of the current month can be used to change the calendar month, and the scroll bar to the right of the current month can be used to change the year. The current date is highlighted and circled. Clicking on another date will populate the field with the selected expected date of completion. After a date is selected, it will appear highlighted, and the current date will be circled on the calendar.

Parts of the Add Additional Improvement Item Worksheet

1. Title – Add an improvement item for the current objective.

2. Participant Drop-down Menu – Drop-down menu to select the appropriate participant for the additional improvement item.

3. Improvement Item Textbox – Area where text can be added to describe the improvement item.

4. Recommended Action Textbox – Area where text can be added to describe the recommended action.

5. Responsible Organization(s) – Area where all responsible organizations are listed. Multiple organizations should be separated by commas.

6. Date Fields – A checkbox to activate the date drop-down field and access to the calendar.

7. Worksheet Buttons –

   • Help – Displays this Help page.

   • Delete – This button will appear grayed out if an improvement item has not been added and saved for the current objective. If an improvement item has been added and saved, this button can be selected to delete the current item.

   • Cancel – Cancels the action and closes the current window.

   • OK – Accepts all selections and added text and closes the current window.
