Student Poster Session Information

Student Day, March 18 at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel has been announced!

Student posters will be displayed from Tuesday afternoon through noon on Thursday.  Students will be required to field questions at their posters during the Poster Session and during break sessions on Thursday morning and all day Wednesday.

The poster position assignments are now available in printable PDF format.

Poster Guidelines

Please do not deviate from your assigned location without the consent of Marolyn Randolph, the ORISE staff person in charge of the session. Marolyn Randolph may be reached at (865) 574-8645 or at DHSsummit@orise.orau.gov.

The boards will be numbered for identification.  Pushpins and Velcro will be located in plastic bags on your poster board, with extras on hand.  You should be able to go straight to your location and post your work once the boards are ready.  Storage space will be available for poster tubes and containers.  Mark the containers with identification.

Posters must be removed from the boards before noon on Thursday.  Posters remaining after that time will be considered disposable by the vendor who will be disassembling the poster boards.

No A/V items will be provided to poster presenters. Electrical outlets will not be available.  Display tables will not be available.  Shipping supplies are available through the business center of the hotel at your cost.  In addition, ORISE will not reimburse costs associated with the printing and shipping of your poster to the hotel.
