Applicant Eligibility Requirements

All positions at TSL require natural-born or naturalized U.S. citizenship. Applicants that are selected must be able to secure at least a Secret clearance and Department of Homeland Security Suitability.

As part of the process all candidates for positions at the TSL are required to submit 2 copies of their fingerprints. Once a position is accepted, the Security Officers at TSL will provide assistance in preparing forms and submitting a complete package for processing.

Evaluation Process

ORISE will receive applications on behalf of TSL and ensure completeness and eligibility. TSL will review applications and make final award selections. TSL will base their decision on the applicant’s relevant professional and academic background and, if requested, references submitted on the applicant’s behalf. Postdoctoral Fellows will be required to submit a 3-5 page research proposal for evaluation.
