HIV/AIDS – SOFA
VISUAL: The room is dark. A young couple sitting in the living room on the sofa. The young woman touches the young mans hand and then his face. They begin to kiss passionately.
AUDIO: [dramatic music playing in the background].
VISUAL: The television comes on and aluminates the living room. The couple stops kissing and listen to the man on the TV who is speaking with a concerned tone.
MAN ON TV: We have a long way to go in the fight against HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
VISUAL: The young man picks up the remote and turns off the television. He reaches for the young woman and continues to kiss her passionately.
VISUAL: Text, HIV the VIRUS THAT CAUSES AIDS
VISUAL: Again, the television turns on and aluminates the living room.
MAN ON TV: HIV is spread by sharing needles and through sex with an infected person. Today, there’s a good chance you know someone with HIV.
VISUAL: The young woman picks up the remote and turns off the television. She continues kissing the young man.
VISUAL: Again, the television comes back on. The man on the TV continues to deliver his message on aids.
MAN ON TV: People with HIV can look just as healthy as anyone else. You can’t tell if someone is infected with virus, just by looking at them. In fact, the person your with right now might have HIV.
VISUAL: The young man and young woman stop kissing and look at each other. They glance at the television listening to the man speak about HIV.
MAN ON TV: Talk to your partner about HIV.
