Audio: Man’s voice: “You were asked whether cigarette smoking causes cancer.”

Audio: Mr. Waxman: “Your answer was quote, ‘I don’t believe so’. [laughing in background] Do you stand by that answer today?”

Audio: “I do sir, yes” [more laughing]

Audio: Mr. Waxman:  “Do you understand how isolated you are from the entire scientific community?”

Audio: Mr. Tisch: “Well we’ve, we have looked at the data, and the data, uh, that we have been able to see is all been statistical data that has not convinced me that uh, uh, smoking causes death. [people still laughing]
