Glaucoma testing

VISUAL: Man holding a paint bucket, walks toward the camera.

MAN: “You can see me now because you have your sight. It’s a precious thing…sight.

VISUAL Man dips his paint brush into the bucket and starts painting the screen until the whole screen is painted black, as camera zooms in on his face.

MAN: But, if you’re over 60, or black and over 40, there is something that could take it away. Glaucoma.”

VISUAL: Text on screen: “Get a dilated eye exam every two years. Don’t give glaucoma a chance.”

VISUAL: Man reappears on screen.

MAN: “Unless you discover it early, through a dilated eye exam. If you’re at risk, get a dilated eye exam at least every two years.”

VISUAL: Screen shatters with sound of breaking glass.  Man appears on the screen with text in foreground “National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health,  2020 Vision Place, Bethesda MD 20892”

MAN: “Don’t give glaucoma a chance.”
