We worked hard to learn new things about computers in the SensorNet group. First, we installed Linux. Our next task for the project was to learn the programming language of Java, or at least attempt to learn it, since it was fairly complicated. After covering these basics, we learned what, exactly, SensorNet was. We also learned about the nodes. The introduction on the nodes was followed by an evaluation of data from the nodes. Then, we installed operating systems into the nodes. Next, we learned, as best we could, tomcat and encryption. Going back to the nodes, we tracking them and used GPS and satellite images to assess risks.
