A group of high school participants will learn the steps necessary to design and develop a website for the 2004 ARC program. These steps will include the following:

  • planning - define objectives and goals of the site.
  • information architecture - define the organizational structure of the site.
  • design - devise the site's look and feel.
  • information acquisition - write text and gather illustrations and photos for the site.
  • site construction - utilize HTML and graphics applications to create the site.
  • maintenance - keep the content up to date.
